Why post that silliness? Hop over-committed to his punch. The collision was unexpected and typically unusual and it only took Chad a millisecond to be both thinking "he shouldn't be crashing into me" and to take the very natural reaction (in a fight) to hook a leg that shouldn't have been there and then drive the body off of himself. There was no need for your take .. that is simply wrong. But, it doesn't change the facts. A passive reaction to the impact would have allowed BHOP to most likely catch his footing .. but the leg hook and shoulder ensure that he wouldn't have the opportunity.

Consider the reverse .. are you honestly willing to contend that Chad didn't know he was driving Hop back in the same direction he had just come? That decision was more than merely reflexive. Watch Chad's left leg as he pushes Hop off - this was an example of "you shouldn't be here .. get the **** off me".

 

then you need to watch it again first B hop in on the ropes he tries his right han by ducking his head he does that in every fight

chad ducks B hop falls on to chads body and B hop does what all boxers do grabs a leans on him but he tries a knee dawson grabs his leg and lifts his body up its simple

all fighters lean on there opponents backs all some fighters just lift there body up or just stay there

Where is this brutal knee attempt by Hopkins that was about to devestate Dawson's internal organs lol. Don't try to be a smart ass with the guy above just because he's describing what he sees, more accuratly than you imo.

You said shurgged him off, i said threw. Shrug for me implies use of shoulders, i used threw because Dawson clearly bends his knee and pushes off in a upward motion (in addition to his shurg). That move/motion is what caused Hopkins backwards momentum which "threw" him to the canvas.
