Yep. It's mind-boggling people are defending Chad. He allowed for Hopkins to fake it or not fake it. Honestly, he had no business pulling that ****. It was poor sportsmanship. Don't give me "Hops leaned on him." Hops was doing his one punch head-leaning momentum routine. Yeah it's an ugly tactic, but he wasn't purposely leaning on him, his momentum was moving forward and Dawson just threw him off. Fighters momentum collide all the time in fights. That's what initiates tons of clinches. Hopkins was going to lose anyway, I guess.

  2. if a guy in a boxing match jumps or leans on your back what would you do

will you say thank you or lift up or just stay there and let your back get hurt

cause thats why fighters do it to hurt your back its illegal and you no it so you say chad is wrong for reying to protect his body

The only part that matters is the collision and the aftermath. Your "beliefs" about what BHOP has done in the past, in his career, or at some other moment in this fight is irrelevant.

You can fault BHOP for missing and being out of control ... that's it though.

In another thread PHILLA noted correctly that while avoiding the punch Dawson also ducks below Hopkins waist, which is illegal although rarely enforced. Him getting that low is largely responsible for Hopkins ending up on his back. Guys like Dirrell, Floyd, Dawson, Pernell back in the day never get warned for that though they should.

I knew this **** was gonna happen!

What were the betting odds for Dawson?

BHOP made a killing, getting two paychecks!

  6. ducking is not illegal goind to the mat is theres a difference fighters are told to duck at the start of boxing i think you have the rules mixed up

It's interesting point. It's because that's an aspect of defense and thus glamorized as being more of a skill than cheap I guess.

  8. refs tell you all the time flodys elbow is not illegal ducking is not illegal but you still post the same old bull shiiit

At the moment of the shrug, Dawson had already let go of the leg. He had it pinned for an infinitesimal fraction of a second (if at all). Hopkins always had control of his leg andd could have extended it back out to steady himself at any time. :deal

Dawson put his hand out on sheer instinct after Hopkins' knee came flying at his chest (pretty clearly visible right here) and moved to hold it still for the briefest of moments before sliding past it as he retracted his arm - before shrugging Hopkins off of himself.

The hand is irrelevant to Hopkins' fall. Those trying to tie in the hand as a factor that illustrates any malicious intent on Chad's part are only shooting themselves in the foot. It's a red herring. A snipe hunt. There's nothing there.

Hyperbole much? When 6'3 Dawson bends down at the waist and his head is below Hopkins waist it's illegal. I'm just stating fact.

Keep trying to convince yourself of whatever you want but the only person who seems to really agree with you is the poster i quoted below who can't even speak proper English and i suspect is mentally challeneged.

Sorry. Those clips do nothing for your case. Quite the opposite. Really. Hop is extended on his left leg and Chad hooks his right leg. Clear as day man. He had no control over his balance and subsequent landing due to Chad's action(s). Take a poll SOLELY off this clips and net of the biased haters on ESB (not putting you in the cat of course) .. most will see that BHOP would have had an impossible time ending up on his feet after what occurred. Chad's right shoulder to the solar plexus or stomach, entire weight on the left leg, Chad's right leg/knee as a fulcrum in between Hop's legs, and the right leg hooked by Chad and lifted .. no chance of gaining (regaining) his footing or balance ....

You only seem to have one person chirping along with your claims, yourself.
