    Dawson stopped his downward motion and started a forward motion before the contact. Thus, they were both going forward. Bernard was going forward legitimately, from the momentum of his punch, while Chad was going forward in a rugby-like tackling motion.

    It's a win-win for Hopkins. He gets paid for 2 rounds of work, can claim this fight wasn't fair, & get another payday. He could also get you Dq'd. He also does it to get a point advantage. If you give Hopkins an opportunity, he will take it. He's done it against Echols, Allen, Calzaghe, Jones 2, Dawson. He's possibly done it in even more fights that I can't recall at the moment.

    Look at the GIF. Especially the top-down view. Pay close attention to the moment when Chad starts his forward motion, and if it happens before or after contact between the 2.
