Hopkins has dislocated shoulder: Confirmed

If its coming from anyone other than a state commision doctor, I'm not going to believe it.
There's doctors in the thousands that GBP could pay off to release any statement they want.

If the CSAC comes out tommorow and states, "indeed our doctors have confirmed Hopkins dislocated his shoulder in that fall."
I'll start a new thread and apologize to Bernard Hopkins for calling him a quitter.

 

i mean, direll had brain damage one month, and next hes cleared and looking for an opponent 8 months later..... from 1 punch 8 inches away

 

I don't think he faked it this time. Yes, he has cried wolf before but not this time.

Dawson ends the fight with a foul and the person fouled becomes the villain. I don't like the "boy who cried wolf" argument. Yes, Hopkins has a history of feigning injuries to buy time to rest or try to get a point deducted from an opponent. What he does't have is a history of quitting fights. Hopkins has always been game. Also, I had the first round to Hopkins, and I think we would have started coming on in the middle rounds like he did against Pascal. I also think Dawson fouled out of frustration, and this fight only reinforced the notion that he's mentally fragile.

 

isnt it against the law to release a patients medical privacy? seriously? how much time has gone by and this info is leaked out?

 

LOOOOOOOL: of course the paid doctor will confirm that ****. golden boy paid the doctor, this happens all the time in boxing. 80 per cent of those fake injuries will later be "confirmed by an expert". all bull****. no way did this ****** Hopkins dislocate his shoulder in that fake fall

 

This is sports related and this type of info comes out. A patient can allow it to be released as well. I am sure that some writer and Commission person was there as well.

 

Yep but he is now 46 and i'm not sure if he was comfortable in there and could have tried to get the fight called off due to a foul but badly backfired. Now if he really does have a shoulder injury, the decision should be reversed, I dont know what the ref is on about, no coubt of course it was a foul.

As someone else mentioned would be funny if it were ruled a no contest, chad wouldnt get the rematch as he did act like a bit of an idiot post fight but then again I suppose he was just annoyed and worried at the outcome, as i'm sure he was very confdent of taking thsi one.

One thing I will say is another controversial outcome to a big fight, which has finished prematurely. This definitely is not good for Boxing. Fights like this and Ortiz Floyd, will seriously make boxing fans reconsider shelling out thousands of pounds/dollars attending bouts or even the PPV cost of the fight. In the UK , we didnt pay for this one but the I would've been pissed if I had...I did have to stay up til 5am in the morning to watch though...

It's pretty simple to me.
Tackling and throwing an opponent to the ground is illegal in boxing.
Whatever happened next doesn't matter to me.
Dawson fouled and he should have been disqualified.
How he won is a mystery.

 

no said he was faking the injury dumbass. We were saying he was the one who fell down like a ***** there was no body slam. he hurt himself which is what the ref saw and correctly ruled it a tko.
