I know you post here sometimes.

As you can see by my post count, I am a lurker on here but I had to post after watching that fight.

I would just like to say, you made a huge fan out of me.
I had money on Cleverly and I had the fight a draw.

Your reaction during the post-fight interview impressed me immensely. You would have had every right to complain about the decision. Instead you just took the loss with no complaints and gave props to the good things your opponent did. This is a very rare thing to see these day's and makes you a man deserving of huge respect :bowdown.

You don't need to apologise to anyone for that performance!!!

Good luck in your future, you have gained a fan for life. :good

nice post, agree with every word. when he speaks, he speaks from the heart and tonight he fought with heart and in his head after the fight he believed the dodgy cards, hopefully he will watch the fight back and relise how close he was of becoming a world champion

Bomber you did yourself proud last night, both in the ring and in the post fight interview afterwards.

IMO you won that fight by one round. Paris should either get glasses or be pensioned off. No way did Clev beat you by five rounds.

You were a class act Tony and hope to see you back in the ring soon.

    War Bomber!

    Agree with all this :good

I think when Tony watches the fight back he will realise just how close it was, it should have been a draw IMO. He was far to gracious at the end, but props for being class post fight.

He has a new fan in me for deffo and i would love to see a rematch.

Cracking fight and props to Clev as well, neither man played it safe, it was a great fight.

I had Bellew 1 round up tbh, but i was sat ringside and i must admit the atmosphere did sway me a bit. I'll have to rewatch it and rescore it.

Either way, what a ****ing show by the two of them...

(Btw' What fight was Dave Parris watching?)

I was there too and had Bellew up by one, though I was up in the gods. Thought Bellew outworked and out boxed Clev at times, and I thought Clev seemed pretty immobile.

Very simply I had Bellew winning the rounds where most of it was at range and Cleverly won rds when the fight was at close range. As a result Clev by 1.

I had it a draw, he boxed brilliantly was gutted for him at the end when he was welling up, obviously he had promised his kids that he was going to win them title and never got the nod and now has to go an explain to them why, no explaining needed really.

deep down though I think he sorta knew he didn't enough especially right after the bell, then when Burdis called "Majority decision" you could see the resignation on his face.

Both were classy in the interview you could see Cleverly felt for him when Bellew mentioned his kids.
