    How about if Bhop landed on his left elbow first? Could it dislocate his left shoulder?

    dawson did not even put much force or weight into it. hopkins is tough and the way he fell did not look that bad at all.

    Ah, finally, a real doctor is in the house!! Thank you for this..I did a report in an anatomy class last semester on the subject of rotator cuff injuries, complete with illustrations, and I'm familiar with the anatomy of the shoulder..I enjoyed this post.

    Emmitt Smith supposedly played with a seperated shoulder. I still don't believe that story to this day.

    Nawfal, what does it mean that the dislocation was "closed"? Or is that what the treatment was?

    That was a long overdue lesson to be taught to Hopkins. He has been ****ing around too long with his style, lead right then crowd the opponent.

    That's apparently the lowest available dose of Vicodin, but it is used to treat "very severe pain."

    a closed injury means there is no communication of the bone to the outside. i.e. the dislocated bone didnt cut through the skin and poke outwards. that would be an open fracture dislocation.
