    this

a round 2 tko loss is gunna look **** on Hopkins' record, and when it went down like that it makes it even more ****. Dawson pissed me off big time after the fight the way he acted when he was asked if he would give Hopkins a rematch. There should be a rematch on the back of that fight, end of ****ing story.

Bernard Hopkins created the way out, he was fouling from round 1. He created and brought all of this on himself, he has wanted no part of Chad Dawson for 3 years. Bernard Hopkins should call and cry for a rematch, or completely shut the **** up and retire.

Chad Dawson is the best light heavyweight on the planet!!

Hopefully the ruling gets changed to a NC..im sure GBP will put all thier weight behind challenging this bs ruling.

Chad Dawson acted like a little punk after the fight. Shame Calzaghe didnt slap him around before retiring.

The ref was a dick for not calling a foul. Even if it was a minor offence.

Otherwise you could get situations like WWE where you can chuck opponents out of the ring and then win because they can't continue.

Hopkins might have beaten Dawson in younger age, but last nights Dawson was very motivated and would have pressured Hopkins causing him to run out of steam early. Dawson and shaw did act like idiots afterwards, but Dawson generally seemed to have a persnality makeover. He even told Pascal to sit down "wit your tight pants" and the post fight press conferance, where pascal was sitting dressed like a butler, bow tie and all, :)

Bernard Hopkins fouled more than Dawson during the whole fight, he created the way out. What on earth was he doing on top! on top of Chad Dawson's back before he was shoved off..? Bernard Hopkin was a *****, the real ***** last night! and looked for a way out!!!!

Facts are facts, you deluded ****wit. Dawson got a gift without throwing a meaningful punch. This will get overturned (because CSAC won't want the might of GBP on them, and the attendant loss of revenue) and Dawson will be back to where he was: an average fighter, with no fans, no belts and a bad attitude.

To me it looked like Bernard followed through on his right hand, which just brushed the top of dawsons head as he ducked down - probably below the belt line. This lead to Hopkins going above Dawson, who then pulled that WWE ****.

Dawson earlier in the round was sticking his elbow in Hopkins neck, for a good 4-5 seconds. Ref didn't do ****. Hopkins was hitting and holding on the blind side. It was going to be a dirty fight.

As for Dawson, he's tried thos WWE stuff before. Someone in the generals done a gif of him trying that same move on pascal when he got clocked. He clearly tries lifting pascal up by the leg.

Persinally I think Bernard did get injured but not to the extent he was making out. Bernard being the type of guy he is, probably felt why should I fight on when I'm feeling less than 100% and the guy will probably have even freater chance of winning. Regardless of his motivations, the ref ****ed up.

Got to be a NC, although I feel Hopkins made the most of it.

Be interesting to see how keen Hopkins is for a rematch.

Hopkins has a history of faking injury. Look at the Calzaghe fight. I think there should be a return . But plenty of fighters have lost due to injuries caused by accidents in boxing. Hopkins is also a serial offender for dirty tactics. I highly doubt he was injured. Let's see him in a rematch sure, but I doubt he will go for it.

So what's the general consensus here in the Brit forum?

The ******s over in the General are under the impression that Hopkins was having his ass handed to him in the first two rounds, and wanted out. Seriously, this is what they think.
