This is just going to be a quick rant about the immediate ESB reaction last night. Granted, we all have a legit reason to be pissed off after having watched two high-profiled fights suffer premature, bizarre endings. But honestly, thats no excuse to blurt some of the **** you guys were blurting last night. Im talking about those who claim Hopkins was looking for a way out. Seriously, guys, what exactly did you see in those two rounds, that makes you think Hopkins would go to the extent of faking an injury to get out of the fight? The man experienced a far tougher opening against Pascal suffering immediate knockdowns and shots to the back of the head in front of a hostile Canadian crowd but still managed to stick with it and fight to a draw in a far more physically demanding fight. Yet youre telling me that Dawson slowly following and barely landing anything in a slow-paced fight is going to force Hopkins to break down mentally and fake an injury? I was one of those who thought he would give Hopkins a tough fight, however, in the weeks leading up to last night, all I heard from ESB was that Dawson is too mentally fragile for a G like Hopkins, and that hed get his ass whooped. Then, I see these same ****ers claiming Hopkins faked it because hes a ***** who has a history of faking ****, and he knew Chad was going to get the better of him. Typical, indecisive nature of ESB. Knee-jerk reactions that completely contravene the weeks of comments theyve been making before the fight.
Nail...head. Lots of these fake Hopkins fans all outraged atsch some were like 'I was supporting BHop but he was looking for a way out' :nut there have even been those trying to make the point that Dawson was 'dominating' Hopkins. These are for the most part the same people who will flock to esb right after Martinez beats a Pavlik to procalim him to be an ATG etc. then proceed to make the 'Martinez vs Hagler' type polls.
He's been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder anyway, so the fake injury **** can be dismissed. This content is protected
Some people are just idiots. That's your answer. Glad there's medical proof, not that any rational person actually needed it. I can't wait for the next high-profile, fixed fight. Boxing is such a great sport !
Ridiculous. It really is. I've just read in another thread that Dawson was on his way to stopping Hopkins late on in the fight atsch. The General is retarted. It really is. Just quickly popped over onto the Brit forum, and thankfully, they're being sensible about it. They're obviously annoyed with the way it ended, but acknowledge it for the freak accident it was.
Paid off? atsch These are the same ****ing jump-on, jump-off cocks who ride someone's dick when they win at age 46 and then criticize them after they lose or after something controversial. @Rico The Brit Forum has always been better than this bollocks. Only come in here occasionally.
That won't be enough for some people, Laz. According to the experts on here, there's no possible way you can injure your shoulder by landing on your elbow . Despite the following: http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/front/shoulder/acjoint.htm
Most of them were just butt hurt idiots having a knee jerk reaction because they paid for the PPV and felt they got ripped off.
Yeah I think I need to move, my time was split pretty evenly between this place and the lounge but this last incident really shows what kind of ******s fester here, even the semi normal posters jump on the bandwagon when the stupidity kicks off. I still hope to drop by from time to time to do my Vitali troll threads/posts though.
Yeah, I think that's what it is. We, in the UK, have benefitted from not paying for it, and can view the incident with less emotion.
Which reminds me: I also saw a Vitali fan today questioning his [Bernard's] injury claim and ability to continue .
