In defence of Hopkins....

I wont lie when I saw the threads and posts comparing Hopkins to Vitali I almost puked :dead:dead

 

Yep claiming Hopkins faked the injury was absurd, it would make absolutely no sense to do that. none.

Agreed the brit always has classier responses to fights I mainly just post in the general for entertainment value and british when im in the mood for boxing talk.

What's funny is I remember watching the Khan Judah fight and as soon as it ended I was instantly curious as to what the reaction on here would be, I thought (for some odd reason) that most of the people would be hating on Khan for hitting Judah with a low blow but I was surprised most blamed Judah (and rightly so) and again yesterday I was wondering what the reaction on here would be but I honestly never thought i'd see threads and posts saying 'BHop was looking for way out' and 'Chad had Hopkins number' and 'Hopkins took a dive' why the **** would Hopkins look for a way out of fight after TWO rounds of nothingness??? atsch

 

Sounds like a plan, i'll take my actual boxing talk elsewhere and from now on general will only be for discussing Vitali and accusing people of deepthroating trannys. :bart

 

I gave mad slack for Hopkins.

Hopkins has been stinker some of his last fights but that does not matter

He is going to be remembered as great Fighter from his middleweight career and taking Light heavyweight crown.

But lately man has been horrible:good

 

Can't hate on a guy like this TBH he's been a hater so if he says some **** atleast he's being consistent and that's something to respect, but it's these bandwagon cocksuckers who were all 'Hopkins a G' and are now all 'he was looking for a way out' that need to STFU.

 

After the first couple of rounds of the first Pascal fight, it looked like Hopkins was going to get his ass handed to him. If he didn't quit after that, does anybody really think that Dawson did enough to make him look for a way out?

This **** happens every time that there's an unsatisfactory conclusion to a fight. Most of the idiots here start talking a bunch of ridiculous bull****, usually in the form of accusations of fighters being cowards and bizarre conspiracy theories about all of the officials being paid off. I didn't even bother reading the forum last night because I knew exactly what to expect.

 

He cried wolf against Roy jones and joe Calzaghe. He was an embarrassment in the 2nd rj fight...just looking for point deductions. U can't blame the overwhelming fan response. Hopkins always said he would do anything it took to win. I'm not going to believe any reports that golden boy comes out with unless we see the actual x-rays.
