That's Olu, Ajose's manager. And Ajose looked good the other week, let's hope he gets a fight with Morales and we can see whether or not he's a legit' top ten guy or not (Morales, with a win over a 21-30 guy and a draw over a top ten fighter is still arguably a good gauge for this)

So the Holt that showed up in the Mabuza fight is the norm nowadays. He has a poor workrate and is too left hook happy. And yes, Holt was outside the top 10. Decent win still for Garcia at this stage. Now he can fight an actual top 10 guy.

Khan will be leaving 140 after Peterson so that will be 2 vacant belts for these other guys to fight over. Bradley will probably vacate the WBO and fight Pacquiao (after Casamayor). So that might be another belt there for the taking.

How about Garcia v Morales for the WBC title? That is the fight for him right now and it can be made because both are with GBP.

I thought Bradley was fighting Casamayor @ 147? Is that not the case?

I may be many things but clueless about the fight game is not one of them. As for Ajose Olusegun all he does is win whatever the obstacles that are put before him. This is a guy who has got himselfa guaranteed short at the WBC 140 title doing it the old fashioned. Bradley is a serious operator. Amir Khan is a gifted fighter with fatal flaws. Mark my words. The fact he actually thinks he can beat Mayweather shows his deluded mind and suspension of reality.

Fleaman do I detect a change are you beginning to be won over by the talents of Ajose. That would be a result if so as I know you are not easy to impress.

    McCloskey ;)

No seriously though, 140 looks to be shaping up pretty nicely even if Amir Khan and Tim Bradley move up. Maidana-Matthysse would obviously be a great fight and I love the idea of Morales-Olusegun- if Erik were to win, which I'd say he has about a 30-40% chance of, I think I'd give him a lot more props than for just picking up that vacant belt vs Cano.

Good division at the minute, better than Welterweight in my eyes.

Unfortunately so much happens behind the scenes. What Lennox Lewis referred to as politricks of boxing otherwise he should have had his chance by now.
