Do Hopkin's achievements outweigh the negatives?

For all his boxing ability, he is also one of the worst cheats in the sport.
For all his accomplishments, he is also a terrible ambassador for the sport, a racist and a total ****.

I guess it is how you weigh up all those things that will determine your answer. Some people don't mind Hopkin's being a cheating ****, and just admire his masterful boxing. For them, the answer is clearly "no".

I'm the kind who absolutely hates cheats, hates racists, hates assholes.

I sometimes find myself in the position of explaining to people why I like boxing (you know when you meet anti-boxing people?) and I would avoid talking about Hopkins at all. So I guess, in that case, I do find him a disgrace.

 

Hop has been a disgrace on and off his ENTIRE career.

People forgot once he got a couple wins when he was older and started toasting him.

In the streets he was a snitch, stab you in the back type. And he just robbed a $1 million check last night.

Took the east road out. He insults those who go and fight with all their hearts.

Moreover im flattered by the little boy thing but im actually 42 and have well over 20 years of watching fights and also my post average is a lowly 9 a day, which is hardly posting "24 hours a day" is it 'little boy?'
