    This.

It's a no contest. For me, you can't call a TKO on a wrestling move in a boxing match. Still, I think noone believed Hopkins was really hurt including the ref, so he decided to give Hopkins some of his own medicine.

The actual fight lasted a bit over 3 minutes, but I liked the way Dawson approached the fight and he showed me he could trouble Hopkins and at least beat him on points. Hop is a legend, but come on man, you can't rely on faking injuries anymore. After the bout I felt exactly like Dawson did (him shouting 'you're a *****' was priceless), so yea Hopkins kind of fell in his own trap.

    ^^^

You can't just jump on someone's back and expect that he just takes it.

If Dawson had of let Hopkins do what he wanted to do, then they both would have ended up on the ground with Hopkins on top, and then Dawson would be the one most likely to be injured.

Hopkins cheating left Dawson with two choices. Both involved someone going down. Dawson made the 100% right decision. It is only right that the cheat is the one who gets the consequences.

Bernardette thought it would be a NC, thats why he faked his injury, thinking he would collect a free paycheck that night and be guaranteed a lucrative rematch.

    Fair enough.

Again, for me it should be a no-contest, but I have no problem with the official ruling. Hopkins' antics backfired for once.

First I would like to hear the report on Hopkins injury before I pass judgement on weather he was faking or not. Second, a championship belt is not something you just give away because you feel a certain. It has to be earned. I think a lot of these refs need to be retrained.

doesn't matter if he had an injury or not, it was Hopkins antics that led to this bull**** anyway. TKO was def warranted, I'm sick of his bull****.

This. I expect this sort of thing in every Hopkins fight, I'm just glad it has backfired finally.

It does matter because it didnt have to be Hopkins. If a fighter loses his title for being injured in that manner then it sets a dangerous precident to repeat itself intentially. Thats not boxing, thats bull****.:bbb:bbb

I think you can make a decent argument for all three, and in the end the fine details of the exact rules used will matter.

At present, I think an NC is the one easiest to argue assuming the California commission rules are used.

I mistakenly clicked the second choice ahaha

I think it is a no contest and giving it to Dawson via TKO is just ridiculous

If the injury is confirmed by an independant exam then a no contest.
