    Just because James Toney is a disgraceful steroid cheat it doesn't mean all boxers are the same.

    It's really hard to be his fan to be honest. I tried, I really did. But his MMA stint embarrassed boxers all over the world. It not only reinforced the belief that mma fighters are stronger than boxers, it showed that a HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD (that was the caption as Toney was walking out) can't even bother to get himself in fighting shape before such a major event.

    Klitschkos are the heavyweight champions of the world. If that distinction would have been made, and they specified that JT holds a meaningless belt of some unknown federation, milions of mma fans worldwide wouldn't be celebrating a triumph of their sport over ours.

    And you can bet your last tripple burger with cheese that it was Toney's idea to come out with HW Champ of the world caption. ****ing fraud.

    He took the mma fight for a paycheck. This is a boxing website so why is this bein talked about. Ali fought some judo master in a exhibition an got his knees torn apart. He needed a paycheck.

    Thadzi was a decent fighter and that fight was at Cruiserweight. Not exactly Toney's best weight.

    Toney did lose to Montell Griffin though, but Griffin was a very skilled boxer.
