i like the new boxnation tv channel..but

    i hate john rawling as a commentator

    he is terrible biased and missed big punches during a fight as hes busy talking crap.

    the pole landed some great punched last night which rawling missed and it was only a novice co - commentator in enzo that managed to mention them.

    same went with the main event , cleverly was landing some neat punches in side but rawling kept going on about the great liverpool fans.

    boxnation please get a new commentator in , the rest of your show is excellent

    Rawling is Rawling. He was the same on Sky and Setanta before that. I've been surprised at how good Enzo's been so far.

    :deal He should cut out the fighting and make it his permanent job, all in all they have a good team, I prefer it over Skys, If only they could get Ian Darke.

    Ian Darke is the best Boxing commentator in the United Kingdom by a country mile. The ultimate commentary team for Box Nation would be Ian Darke, Al Bernstein (for the major title fights like last night) and Enzo :good

    Loving the channel and am just gonna appreciate it for how it is, knowing full well it's in it's infancy and will improve as time goes on.

    I know hating commentators seems like the thing to do right now but his commentary in the DeGale/Wilczewski fight was the worst I've ever heard.

    Duke McKenzie refused to condemn Parris scorecard last night in the Bhop-Dawson telecast, he was making excuses about what angle you view the fight etc. Bullshitter.

    It was like Rawling was scared to give his own opinion. Constantly referring to Enzo to see how he'd scored each round, but wasn't willing to say what he thought.

    Good start for BN though. :thumbsup

    He's absolutely appalling and has a hideous voice. Enzo was good though, despite the dodgy accent.

    Funny really. He's been getting away with it for 25 years or more, and has won awards from his peers in both radio and television. Apparently he was headhunted by ITV, Setanta and BoxNation, and given the job for Sky's biggest fight of the year. And why has Enzo a dodgy accent? He comes from Swansea, and speaks sense. I thought that the whole show was pretty good. Certainly better than some of the dross elsewhere. The top fight was awesome while Degale came through against a tough man. People forget Chunky has only has 12 fights. Give the lad a break.

    Yeah Rawling is terrible, he imagines some punches have landed when they haven't and generally misses too much of whats going on in the ring. He even admitted to Enzo last night on several occasions that he was no expert, think that was just about the only thing he got right ;)
