don't like how he was actin towards the end

did you know Dawson and his promoter said they aren't interested in a rematch and are fine with giving up the belt they just took if the WBC orders a rematch?

Bernard was pushing him off balance the whole time and pretty much had him on his heels.

I'd like to see Dawson-Sillakh in a year or so.

Hopkins vs DAwson should've been a technical classic, sad really.

Dawson showed up to fight. Hopkins showed up to fake injuries. And big deal if Dawson tossed him down, Hopkins would have been hitting him with low blows and kidney shots out of the refs view if he held on. Hopkins can dish it out, but he cant take it.

Pretty much the most unbiased clear view of what happened.

Umm Hopkins hit Dawson's shoulder and held on to Dawson's shoulder until Dawson's hand hit the canvas. Clearly a push.

Dawson cares more about not looking scared than his legacy, which shows he was actually pretty nervous and hateful of his position in the boxing world at this time.

Even if you think your opponent is faking, if you were really waiting 3 years for this, you wouldn't risk it but shoving him off so violently and then ranting like a madman about how you're the new champion and he doesn't deserve a rematch.

He didn't shove him violently, Hopkins was CONSTANTLY charging on Dawson trying to get inside and punch within range. Dawson was having none of it and simply shrugged him off. OF COURSE was Dawson pissed, look how the fight ended. Who would want to see a rematch after going through ALL THAT.

Pretty much. Hopkins was holding and hitting, throwing punches with headbutts followed after. Dawson shoved him off, Hop dramatically threw him self to the ground and started his antics...The second he fell I knew the fight was over, and he would be making no attempt to get up, hoping to keep his belt and get a NC but instead Karma bit him in the ass. He quit...And a loss should be on his record.
