California State Athletic Commision is a Disgrace!

    Technically, people it was a "shoulder shrug"...we practice this all the time at my gym..

    It just so happened bhop was hovering over him and we know the rest..move was legal..

    Im mad, not cuz of that, but cuz the freakin california state athletic commision dipped out with out explanation and

    they gave the wrong "initial" call...

    I hope the csac sees how fuked up they are and changes their ways!

    I WAS ROOTING FOR HOPKINS BTW....STILL, MOVE WAS LEGAL..SHOULDER SHRUG IS PERFECTLY LEGAL...NOT EVEN DEBATABLE.

    Show me..I saw him lift up with his shoulder after Hopkins jumped on his back...I didn't think either move was CLEARLY ILLEGAL. I SAW BOTH GLOVES IN FRONT OF HOPKINS THOUGH....NOT WRAPPING AROUND HIM:huh

    I'M SAYING IT HAPPENED AND IT SUX THAT HOPKINS LANDED THAT WAY, FROM THE LEGAL SHOULDER SHRUG...IT ENDED UP FUKING THE FANS..

    I WAS GOING FOR HOPKINS TOO. :deal

    it's ****ing stupid! Cintron jumps out of the ring in California and can't continue, but Paul Williams doesn't get the TKO. Dawson throws Hopkins to the floor and Hopkins can't continue, but Dawosn gets the TKO

    It was a clear foul on Dawson's part. After the tape is reviewed, it would be absolutely disgraceful to rule this as anything except an NC.

    You need to see the video that is facing hopkins back to see the leg grab. I cant find it right now but have seen it in a thread on here somewhere.

    Boxers can't be getting tko's for take downs that cause injury. That's rediculous. I think a no contest would be the way to go not a tko.

    Wasn't a damn wrestling match..NO CONTEST AND WBC (I BELIEVE THAT WAS THE SANCTIONING BODY?:huh) SHOULD ORDER IMMIDEATE REMATCH.

    Rematch should be on HBO Championship Boxing... NO REASON TO PUT THESE STYLES ON PPV...WAS NO REASON IN THE FIRST PLACE AND IF THE DAMN THING WOULDA BEEN ON HBO CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING TO BEGIN WITH, IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AS BIG OF A DEAL.

    Can anybody post what the California Boxing Athletic Commission clearly states as their rule? What about the purses if it gets overruled?

    The Cali boxing commission is new to boxing.
    They have no boxing background and are green, inexperienced.

    DelaHoya handpicked them all, after DelaHoay had "The Governator" fire the more veteran and experienced ones, after the Margarito-Mosley scandal, caus ethe then Cali commission had allowed Margo to try to "level out the playing field" against a steroid cheating -Mosley.

    and now, this is the shiitt that happens.:lol:
