i really am not interested in seeing this fight. I believe Linares would be able to outbox Demarco like he was able to during almost all the fight, and Linares will not be stupid and slug with him again. Only way Demarco would win is if Linares gets cut against

Lol Linares wasn't slugging it... he was trying to get away from Demarco punches... it's not like he chose to slug, he was forced into it.... he wasn't slick enough or defensive enough to negate DEmarco's offensive attacks.

Demarco loses imo. Linares was outboxing him easy. Linares will fight smarter. Great fight for Demarco tho, really shows that you should never give up hope and pressure does indeed burst pipes.

Looks like I'm the only one who thinks it would be **** and Linares outboxing Demarco. What do you guys think will happen? All in all I would watch this fight but I feel Linares would win easy.

Its not like that cut magically appeared on Linares' face. Oh but could it be possible that DeMarco had anything to do with it!?!?!?

 @ the people saying Linares wins easy again. He might win the rematch, but it sure as **** wont be easy. :deal

Anyways, if it does indeed ever happen, i would definetly watch. GUERRA DEMARCO!!

It could very well be another Marquez Vazquez fight? you never know or it could just be another pressure beating boxer..hard to predict the outcome because you often times have to look past the skill and account the heart...which I have done and its all Demarco...:good

I respect your opinion I'd love to watch it again.

    There is no immediate rematch.

    Morales is fighting DeMarco next.

thats why Morales was sitting ringside, cause he was "scoping out" his next fight against the winner.

funny thing, is that last year, Morales was given a shot at that same WBC 135lbs belt that DeMarco won, when it was held by Humberto Soto, and Morales turned it down, cause Morales is scared:lol: to fight Soto, so Morales jumped to 140lbs.

But now that Soto had vacated the WBC 135lbs belt, Morales feels safe in fighting for that belt, as long its not against Soto.

Demarco finishes Linares quicker this time, I'd say around 5-6th round.:bbb

That WBC 135lbs Lighweight vacant Title that Demarco and Linares fought for, was Humberto Soto's vacated belt.

Soto vacated it, cause he didnt want to defend it against his mandatory-DeMarco, cause DeMarco is Soto's cousin.

The only reason Soto stayed at 135lbs, cause he was trying to unify his belt with Juan M. Marqez's WBO/WBA 135lbs title belts, but JMM is scared to fight Soto, just like EM, MAB, Pac were also scared to fight Soto too.

I forgot to mention that Linares had ducked Soto when Soto was WBC 130lbs Super-Featherweight Champion.

Yeah I would love to see a rematch. I thought the fight could of gone a little longer, but I guess the ref really saw something in there. Either way Demarco was bringing it, hurting Linares in that last round while looking unfazed by Linares' shots.

Demarco showed a tremendous chin, and didn't allow himself to get too fustrated in there. I really disagree, with the comments saying that Linares will easily outbox Demarco in a rematch. Linares just might be able to beat Demarco in the rematch, but no way will it be cake.
