No. I think you made your point quite clearly. This doesn't compare.

No. Hopkins was on Dawson's level 10+ years ago. Probably more if you count the pre-Taylor era as his best. Arguably, at the weights and ages involved, Dawson is on a higher level.

And you are in all of them saying otherwise.

Huh? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

it means we get that the man got hurt.....

but dont act like you are on fire and your skin is melting and thats the pain you feel..... if youre you are HURT , you are human...he fell awkward...he didnt jump from a rooftop on nails....thats the point...if you want to be HARD, OLD SCHOOL, PHILLY BADASS, PRISON HARD..all of which he is....i would excpect he didnt act like the old lady who has fallen and couldnt get up

I can agree with you on some level. I also understand what whiners Boxing fans are about a sport so demanding.

Guys sit out constantly or are removed from games for sprains, pulls, etc... in the NBA, NFL, MLB, etc... and nobody bats an eye. Boxing is so inconsistent and disorganized at times that a guy won't even get the benefit of the doubt without theatrics. How many broken hands, detached retinas, cracked ribs, cuts in training, etc... are dismissed on this site DAILY?

Dude that other stuff is his shtick. I hope you don't believe it. I don't.

And you obviously either don't understand relativity or just choose to ignore the fact in order to support your point..

Hell all i was doing was posting a video as proof to somebody that a fighter can fight with worse injuries if they so wish and the need to role around in pain like a ***** wasn't necessary. In my mind both situations are relative but williams was a man about it. Therefore the situations do compare apart from the fact that one fighter didn't cry with a much worse injury.

In the Echols rematch, he dislocated his shoulder according to Doug Fischer. This time it was a separation which is less severe.

The only thing Hopkins is going to crush is maybe his other shoulder.

What is "relativity"? I have no point other than an obvious foul resulted in a now confirmed injury. Stop trying to make this about "tough". This is prize fighting not a tough man contest.

So if one guy lasts 10 days with no water and another guy dies at 8 days was the 8 day guy "faking it?" Relativity.

I never said he was faking the injury. What i am saying is that Bhop played up his injury to a point where he did himself no favours.

"So if one guy lasts 10 days with no water and another guy dies at 8 days was the 8 day guy "faking it?" Relativity.

With your statement above in mind i feel you are now in agreement with me (or contradicting yourself) and all things relative, what Danny williams did against mark potter was real toughness and shouldn't be downgraded like you did by saying it wasn't such a threat due to the fact that the opponent is not on Dawsons level..

You really need to read what is being said cos nowhere along the line have i said that bhop was faking, just that he wasn't as hurt as he made out.. nor am I making it about "tough" - I repeat, a forum member said they hard a hard time believing how a fighter could continue in such pain so I showed an example of a fighter continuing with a worse injury. Get over it..
