This fight could be close for December 3rd.

Hey, at least he's not fighting Holyfield or Rahman!

Dont mind that, though Povetkin should still win of course :deal Especially not since Wladimir went with Mormeck. For a long time, I have both wondered and hoped if/when Boswell would get a big fight.

Definitely preferable to Holyfield or Rahman. Boswell is like 41 so about half the ave difference relative to Holy. And Boswell has been waiting for a big fight for a long time.

Don't know what happened with Holyfield but Rahman wanted too much money.

Not surprised about Rahman. Maybe they realized that Holyfield is not worthy at this stage!

I'd rather see Boz finally get his one shot as opposed to Holy and Rahman, who have had multiple chances and showed they're through at the top level these days.

The good news is that Boswell is a better opponent than both Rahman and Holyfield anymore. I wouldn't rate him in the top 10 but you can probably make a case for top 20. I'd prefer someone better but considering his other options I'm ok with Boswell. He'll put up a solid effort but I like Povetkin pretty big in this one.

The bad news is that after this fight we'll probably see Rahman and Holyfield both pop up in the spring as Povetkin's next opponent. Atleast, if Rahman or Holy got this shot Povetkin might have moved on to someone more legit. But Boswell is just good enough to allow Povetkin to take on one of those shot guys next. I was hoping to see Povetkin take on Rahman/Holyfield and then a top 10 guy but now it will be Boswell, then Rahman/Holyfield, then(maybe) a top 10 guy.

What ahppened to Holyfield getting a shot? I was actually happy for him and think that he has a slight chance vs Povetkin although he'd proly lose a UD He did deserve the win vs Valuev 3 years ago.
