Larry merchant dissin on floyd-shame he thinks he was "defending himself"

Me and my woman watched all the pre-fight and HBO fight day shows leading up, and I could tell it was comin'. I kept tellin' my girl I hope Max is gonna be there and not Larry.....and she kept sayin' I was trippin' imagining **** about it.

She believed me though when Larry made some ol' smart ass remarks just because Floyd walked into the building with the company of his children.

Even Lampley had to be like "OR, maybe he just wanted to walk in with his children".

It was some bull.

 

Floyd had no business blowing up on merchant. Dude even had his arms around merchant at the beginning of the interview. I think the fans that booed him got to him so he blew up.

 

That was a spot on Video though. I like Merchant sometimes, but he wants to come on when Floyd fights just to ***** about him......what kind of **** is that?

 

Merchant had asked Floyd the exact same question already 2 times in a row, and you could see the growing frustration on Merchant's face that he had yet to get the reaction from Floyd he was FISHING for, so with no less frustration showing on his face and sounding in his voice he goes for it a 3rd time.....and Floyd tells him how he really feels.

stop hating on Merchant.

he is a legend of the sport and a credit to it.

 

Larry is a grumpy old man with a tendency to act at times like he doesn't even like the sport. I've grown pretty tired of his negativity.

Floyd is an immature *******.

They deserve each other.

 

Merchant is by far the best thing about HBO.

(And I say that as someone who has the opposite taste to his -- my favourite fighters are defensive ones.)

Merchant is the color commentator, Lampley is the play-by-play. Lampley is there to be objective while Merchant's and Stewart's job is to give their own (subjective) opinion. Listening to three guys agree on everything would be boring and pointless.

 

Really? A sympathy video for Void Mayfeather?? Really! atschatsch Void aint ****!! Larry is the man! Void is Void... He's a defensive first fruit cake!
