:deal Floyd and Hopkins both left alot to be desired in the fights, but I think they really are coincidental that they are close to one another. Thank God for DeMarco-Linares that saved the ppv from being a total stinker.

Its just part of the sport. Take the bad with the good.

Pacman vs JMM will make for that last PPV cirsus act (bh vs cd)

But i do feel you man. Ortiz mayweather was shaping up to be a great fight.

I didnt car for hopkin dawson fight one ****ing bit. Garbage PPV main event in my books

Dont need to vent man. Its nothing new to the sport but it does get depressing after a while.

Some of the best fights I've seen this year have been on Friday Night Fights and ShoBox. The "top" fights have been a disappointment for the most part but good fights are still being fought.

And then u got david haye. The guys run at HW was a complete joke. The guy could of make 7- 8 goid fight after the barret fight end if 2008 and fought 3 times after in 3 years ane retires. Now that is beyond sad and disgraceful to the sport.

He could brought real excitment to the HWD but fail

That make the sport sad. I dont care if he fought wlad. He could of thrill us and made alot of noise with his fist not his mouth

boxing is a game of peaks and valleys..... crap eras followed by great ones, bad years followed by good ones etc..... it's been through darker times than recently and always comes back, it will again. Already on the horizon we have Pac vs JMM 3, Cotto vs Margo, Kirkland vs Angulo, possible Mayweather vs Martinez.... we're good, just had some stinkers like Wlad vs Haye or Alexander vs Bradley and unfortunate endings like Hopkins vs Dawson and Mayweather vs Ortiz .....these are freak situations boxing will be fine as it runs its course we just had a really shitty year full of unusual circumstances that proly won't happen again for a while.

Wlad vs haye wasnt a stinker. Wasnt a badfight at all. One of the best tactical fights i have seen. Footwork and boxing skills was amazing. It had its moment. Both at hit with good shots and one of those fights you didnt know what ciuld happen at any time.

    I enjoyed it.

I hear you man n can understand a bit what your daying, kinda like a foty type fight but between two elite opponents

    but fights like

    Casamayor vs Katsidis
    Marquez vs Diaz 1
    Vasquez vs Marquez 1, 2, or 3
    Perez vs Agbeko
    Williams vs Martinez 1
    Jamie moore vs Macklin

and many many more are great fights in their own right.

  15. Boxing has really declined the last 10 years:-(, we have no more good heavyweight's in the states, the last real champ we had was Holyfield and that was 15 years ago, the K BROS just keep dominating! and they are predictable and boring,, every month lately a controversy of some sort, ****s up what is supposed to be a good fight:verysad the good fight arn't on free TV anymore, who in their right ****ing mind wants to dish out 60 bucks to see Chad Dawson...

UFC is becoming more and more popular at boxings expense..
