The Prime Holyfield with tactic from Bowe II would beat Waldi. Holy would get inside and beat him. Evander is was a other Fighter then Waldis oppenents today..

Holyfield by TKO. Wlad is no prime Riddick Bowe. Evander Holyfield would land some huge blows throughout the fight and I really don´t think that Wlad can take them.

  4. Holyfield is just a blown up cruiser, (with steroids of course) he has minimal chance against Wlad as has been shown when Wlad easily beat other blown up slickters like Byrd.

Il go with Holyfield of 1991, KO's Wlad in the 10th after a brutal War which is unlike anything Wlad has ever experienced, Holy would make it a brawl, and i'l stand by Evander having twice the heart Wlad does, anyone who disagrees, go watch Bowe-Holyfield 1.....

jisi is a homosexual Wlad lover and an idiot but honestly, looking at the styles I don't see how Holyfield would do well. Outpointing Wlad is damn ****ing hard because he'll always look like the aggressor with his stiff jab in your face all night long and while knocking him out is possible due to Wlad's rather poor punch resistence, Holy never was a big puncher at HW.

Wlad UD12 is my pick considering Holy never did well against prime superheavies an no, Valuev doesn't count.

bowe is a very overrated fighter i have ever seen. this guy was big with very good talent and he was good, but his prime was what? three fights?

on his best night he gets beaten by both klitschkos, lewis, tyson, holmes, holyfield with stewart in his corner, ali, and goloto for ****s sake

The only result i'd completely dismiss is a Wlad KO. It just idnt happening. Holyfield had an awesome chin, and Wlad doesnt hit hard enough to shatter it. Sam Peter gave Wlad absolute hell, and id expect Holyfield to do the same. He would make it more of a fight, and would drag Wlad into a war which he isnt comfortable with.

Holyfield hurts him enroute to a UD for me

Wladimir can't fight in the inside, he fights within range. That's why everytime his opponents get within punching range he clinches. But Wladimir is so good at beating smaller opponents, it doesn't matter that Wladimir can't fight on the inside.

Nostalgia warriors in full effect here.
Wlad can keep Holyfield on the outside all night long, whenever Holyfield gets on the inside he gets tiedup and leaned on which will tire him out fast.

People mentioning the first Peter fight forget thats not current day Wlad.
Those panick attacks have been resolved and he fights with a lot more confidence and better defense.

Prime Holyfield also was not a big puncher at heavyweight, he has decent power but nothing to worry Wlad with on a single shot basis.

Holyfield is obviously the greater fighter but this is a poor stylistic matchup for him, nostalgia warriors or blind haters should try to use some rational logic.

Just because Holyfield gave Bowe a hard night means absolutely nothing.
Bowe was a big guy that gaveup ALL his advantages to be a inside warrior, Wlad fights nothing like this.
