Hopkins vs Dawson.....Poll.......

No I believe he was really injured, it was an arkward landing and the pain was visible in his face.

Injury was legit. Hopkins had no reason to fake it. Landing on your elbow can do damage to your shoulder, easily.

 

I love the way he insists that Hopkins landed on his bum and then turned over and yet it is obvious from ALL the replays that that simply never happened.

 

It looked like he landed partly on his elbow, which must have sent a jolt up to his shoulder before his shoulder hit the mat itself, strange one but Im 99% sure its a legitimate injury.

 

I believe there may have been some injury but nothing like what B-hop made out.

And as for those that say you could see the pain on his face it was the same as the 'low' blow against Joe.

 

Got there before me, ive just said the exact same thing Your right though it is ****ing painfull, I dislocated my shoulder playing football, nasty.

The ref made a terrible call even if he faked it, Fact of the matter i believe he put Bernard's past antics into his thought when he shouldn't of as a ref you need to ref what you see not what you've heard and predetermined.

Bernard though has cried wolf before and this time it badly backfired on him in his time of need.

 

I just don’t see why he’d quit. Dawson wasn’t having much success, Hopkins was getting a little closer with his timed right hand, it was all to play for. He’s known as a slow-starter, so it was conceivable he’d lose the early rounds on activity.

Hopkins was definitely injured. I just don’t know how extensive it was. But he knows his body and he’d know he’d need all his faculties to fight a young, fast opponent like Chad.

The better question is why Dawson thought that was worth the macho celebration. What a crap way to win your title!

 

i voted not injured because that was my initial feeling, however no one will know for sure
