He'd deserve a shitload of respect, and anyone who says different is clearly...not even worth acknowledging, tbh.

The legend deserves respect whether he takes this or not. If he does though it will elevate him from the Top 5 ATG into the Top 3.

Yes. Every/any fighter deserves credit if they take a fight with someone from a higher weight class IMO.

  10. Except Mayweather :blurp

Sergio Martinez is as overrated as they come, its no surprise Team Mayweather is eying this matchup. Like hitting the lottery over and over as these hypes and flukes come along consistently and fool the masses as they get more and more publicity.

Mayweather just further seals his legacy as a class A ducker.

Only haters won't respect that. Martinez is regarded as the third best p4p fighter in the world. Only Pacquiao would be a bigger challenge than Martinez.

  14. I agree. Martinez is as good as it gets when the Pac fight doesnt materialize.
    Period.

Everyone who tries to downgrade the fight cause Sergio is 37 when they fight or he has to drain himself to go down a few pounds is a delusional twat. Floyd will be 35.

I know these are only rumors so far but I really do hope this fight happens in 012.
