I prefer Jimmy Lennon Jr, he seems more down to earth, less flashy and still adds plenty of emotion to the introduction.

I like Buffer for the main announcement and the 'let's get ready to rumble', he's my favourite overall, but prefer Jimmy Lennon Jr for going through the boxers' records, feel like he builds it up more. I do think that Buffer has lost a little, but it's like an ATG fighter - even at 85% he has enough to handle the opposition. And I agree with the poster who said he doesn't like the proliferation of champions we have, these days - he does seem sharper for the truly big fights.

I prefer Lennon, but if MMA announcers count too, Bruce Buffer and Lenne Hardt are by far the best

Buffer is an aging fellow and has had throat cancer. He doesn't have the cords he used to have but still has a great presentation.

The green version of Buffer did ESPN fights going back to the 1980s. Prime Buffer was around the mid-90s.

FAIL! It's "hater"! Buffer acts like everyone in the crowd is there to see him and not the fighters. As I said, he isn't the reason I watch boxing. That isn't hating, it's just my opinion. :good

Only time I've seen Buffer live you couldn't hear him above the crowd. On the contrary I've seen Jimmy Lennon Jr a few times and he's always been superb.
