Most realistic next fight for Floyd

he'll avoid all serious challenges. sergio's fight with him has been sergio talking so far. u havent heard a word from him on sergio

This is a good question , I have had to think about this one.

To be honest if he has made 40 Million as some news reports say , then I dont think he fights until late next year and it would be Khan at best.

I dont see though how he can make 40 Mil from 850,000 buys the numbers dont stack up.

 

I can't think of the last time Mayweather talked about an opponent before the actual announcement...:think

When did he talk about his last 3 opponents for example before the actual official announcement?

 

Most realistic at the minute is Khan. I'm hoping Pacquiao, if not, then Martinez.

I'd still like to see Cotto if he impresses against Margarito.

 

It's going to be Khan or Martinez. Probably Khan.

 

I don't know why but I am starting to feel optimistic that a fight with Martinez will be Mayweather's next fight. Lots of rumours going round and as the old saying goes "There is no smoke without fire."

 

You forgot to add Alexander. That WILL be his next fight.

its just hard to believe anything he says. he talks about pac but still 2 years and nothing. hes avoided margarito, mosley, cotto, williams, in their primes. his resume speaks for itself. when he faces someone who could challenge him like martinez or maybe even pac, id believe it then.

Well, he hasn't said anything recently anyway, so yeah, that would be hard to believe. I'm hoping for Pac or Martinez next.
