How many times has a boxer been injured from a shove from a clinch? Very rare. And Hopkins landed on his feet first, not his elbow. I don't care how much pain Hopkins was in, he quit. He dirtied the sport, the fans, and Dawson's career.

To be fair he's the only recognisable Dawson fan I know of on here, he was supporting Dawson from before the fight..the rest of these bandwagoners jumped on board post fight.
Sounded like sarcasm to me. He never gave a clear answer to the referee. "Yeah with one arm" does not count. If he wanted to continue, he should have said "yeah I can continue". But when the referee decided to end the fight look it Hopkins reaction, he didn't do squat about it. Hopkins was hoping to get a NC, but he got ruled a TKO. HE QUIT.
Stop being a dumbass. The shove alone did not cause the injury. The manner in which Hopkins landed, did. Dawson's decision to lift Hopkins up and throw him back using his shoulder was not a boxing move. When you do that, it will more than likely send the unexpected person off balance, and possibly onto the floor. That's what happened to Hopkins. His feet weren't positioned well enough to hold him up, and the rest of the body went down with his elbow taking most of the weight - which easily leads to shoulder damage. With only one arm functioning, he had every right not to continue. If you weren't as biased and upset as you are, you'd probably understand this.
Count me as another Dawson fan..I entered the general forum into a thread where I was outnumbered 10 to 1 insisting that Dawson was going to win..I was wrong in predicting a decision, but I was very right about the winner to be....and bull**** on this "NC" crap..if the roles were reversed, if Dawson had taken the tumble onto his elbow, you'd be near delirious about a tko for your idol Hopkins. The fan-boyery in that thread was ridiculous. i hope they do have a rematch...Dawson will be pumped up enough to really end BH's career..with a real live decisive tko.
I do remember you saying you thought Dawson would win before the fight, but i'm pretty sure John Scully, Winky Wright and Ripple were the only Dawson fans pre-fight.
