I watch plenty of fights not involving pac or mayweather.Cotto may be a 3 division champ, but he's nowwhere near as good as he was before the margarito fight. Both fighters are past their prime which to me is why this fight isn't that significant.

And marquez-pacaiuo is another fight people are excited about that will surprise people because of how quckly it ends.

And, Cotto has a ton of fans (like me) who want to see him get even. This fight is huge. To say otherwise is ignorant.

Cotto is the number one fighter at Jr. Middleweight according to Ring magazine and has lost to only Manny Pacquiao, a consensus top-50 fighter in boxing history, since the Margarito loss.

I guess we'll just have to disagree.

Will be a great fight, This is no Ortiz-Mayweather or Hop-Chad, it's Margarito vs Cotto, should be a FOTY candidate.

What are some fights that are worth getting excited over? If Pacquiao-Marquez and Cotto-Margarito aren't worth getting excited about how many fights a year are?

    Two, three?

Wow. I guess there is no accounting for taste.

A fight with a ten to one betting favorite is the fight you're most looking forward to? Oh well, I hope it's a good one too.

It's still significant.. Just because both guys are past their peak, doesnt mean they dont still have a lot left to offer. They both should still have a few really good fights left in the tank depending on what this one takes out of them..

miguel cotto is a beltholder at 154, margarito's possible wrapped hands in the first fight which nearly ruined Miguel.
Cotto's redemption fight, its one of the fights currently scheduled which I look foreward to the most.

If some people can find significance in the gayweather!-Ortiz fight, I am sure that this fight would be twice as significant.
