He would look very odd trying to stalk opponents behind a crouch and for his willingness to trade blows in close.
Maybe the poll failed because it is impossible to imagine a 6'6" guy fighting like Marciano [style wise] against shorter guys. For that we would have to imagine that Ali, Foreman and Holmes would be around the 7' mark and Frazier, Quarry, Shavers and Spinks would be between 6'7'' to 6'9". So we are back to square one.
@ the poll results In all seriousness he'd adapt his style to his physical traits and wouldn't box in the same way
What if Vitali Klitscko fought in 1920, only he was a an Indian elephant named Hugo with carved poplar arms and fists glued to his tusks that he uses to box due to his natural lack of punching appendages? Where would he rate? top 10 HW? You think he takes Dempsey?
Tex Rickard wouldn't have allowed a Jack Dempsey/Hugo Klitschko title fight for fear of mass elephant lynchings and race riots like those that broke out after the Johnson-Jeffries fight. It was politics, the powers that be would not allow an elephant HW champion in 1920.
