No. Hopkins alone is a better scalp on the record.

I think. He is fighting top dog after top dog. Joe C was good but overated and fighting washed up jones just shows he wasnt fighting the best Of the best.

The cobra is a warrior. Straight up badass iron chin killer

Every legend has a loss. FACT.

He ran when the 168 D was loaded with great fights for him and he ducked them all

Well Calzaghe was arguably the best at 168 for a while so Froch would have to avenge his lost to Kessler or beat Bute to prove he is the best currently.. then i would most likely put him ahead of Calzag on the ATG list

Froch has more determination to fight the best without a doubt, in that regard he could be better but overall not yet

Froch needs to prove he is the best SMW first, he ain't gonna do that without
beating Bute. But then Calzaghe is still in front of him until he move up and beat
the crap of some old and rich guy like Hopkins or Jones Jr.

So Its like three wins for Froch until he surpasses JC.

    >top dog after top dog

No. He beat a complete husk of a Taylor.
He then had a really tough win vs Dirrell who had less real fights than Lacy did.
He then beat Pascal who an older Hopkins clowned twice.
He then beat an AA who started complaining he shouldn't even be fighting at 168.
Then Kessler freaking beats him with a broken sense of vision and a messed up body.
Heck, his future opponent's claim to fame is beating a rusty Kessler with developing broken sense of vision and being American.

    That's about it.

These aren't top dogs at all. They're just dogs that are there.

Beating Roy Jones now isn't going to prove anything, just as it didn't for Calzaghe.

I just need to see the two in the ring to know Froch has more potential than Calzaghe ever had. If Froch beats Ward and then defends another 4-5 times against top 10 fighters then he's easily above Calzaghe.
