so how would the USA and allies have attacked the germans on d-day without britain?

    who captured the enigma codes?

    who sank the bismarck?

where would the usa have had a platform to attack from if we didnt allow them into britain?

whos navy got the american navy across the atlantic?

whos subs sank the german subs trying to stop the american ships cross the atlantic?

whos bombing did the greater damage during the raids on berlin? dresden etc usa or uk?

who was it who destroyed the dam's?

who was it who invented the tank, the jet airplnes and the submarines used in ww2?

how would the USA have landed without the landing platforms invented by the welsh guy...cant remember his name

who invented ultra-low radio frequency, given to the usa so that the germans couldnt hear them?

who invented the technology used so planes could land on aircraft carriers?

so insignificant that he only turned his attention when the USSR beef sprung up....you should read a book, I know the UK's role in WW2 id down-played by americans, the aussie who posts on this board and now lives in th New York claims that we are hardly in your ww2 history books or documenteries...but come on, any real historian knowns, anyone who can read a book knows.

while the UK was fighting...americans were doing business with hitler

I don't know a lot about WW2, but I know enough to know that Hitler considered Britain very very important. Hitler even wrote a letter asking for a ' truly cordial relationship '. He had a great respect for the British people and feared our navy.

Hitler had already lost the battle of Stalingrad before the d day landings, the tide of war was already turning against Hitler

Hitler could have invaded Britian, however, he saw them as insignificant and decided to direct his manpower at Russia during operation Barbarossa

The war was won by Russia

You do realise that whatever you say is ignored and carries no validity. You should post on your main account next time, don't be scared to air your opinions.

exactly, the USA only got involved when the tide had already turned!

He used all his manpower/pilots on the UK you dick, it was only when the USSR swapped sides that this changed, why would they put so much manpower into defeating the UK if they were insignificant? infact....it was a whole operation...and since the USSR were on hitlers side at that point...he had no other major worries

do I really have to dig-up some hitler quotes to make you look a dick?

"In December 1932, the Polish Cipher Bureau first broke Germany's military Enigma ciphers. Five weeks before the outbreak of World War II, on 25 July 1939, in Warsaw, they presented their Enigma-decryption techniques and equipment to French and British military intelligence. Thanks to this, during the war, Allied codebreakers were able to decrypt a vast number of messages that had been enciphered using the Enigma. "

    Props to Poland for that.
