That's not irony. Coincidence. Not irony.

Also, I'm still a Hopkins fan.

Big fan of hokins fights hes a master at frustrating and breaking down younger faster prime fighters. The bs dawson fight i dont realize the **** thrown toward him dawson rapped his arm around his leg and lifted his feet off the ground nothing to do with boxing i think he was frustrating dawson and he did it intentionally so lay off the cry baby he was faking bs the doctor has already stated he was injured from it. He does need to retire though plenty of money and legacy he will be talked about like sugar ray one day just watch.

My thoughts on Hopkins are the same. But I'm less of a fan of Dawson now.

Big Hopkins fan. He is one of the greatest to ever do it.
He is constantly sold short as are all modern fighters IMHO.
And yes, once he goes he will be missed big time.

However, I cannot be a fan of his behavior saturday night.
I cannot stand fighters who claim that anything goes in a
boxing ring, but as soon as THEY are on the receiving end
of roughness, they cry foul and beg the commision for a
DQ. Hops is trying to have it both ways. I cant respect that.

He said he wanted to continue but stayed laying on the canvas.
How does a shoulder injury stop you from getting up?
Its just my opinion, but I think he was laying there hoping the
ref would call a DQ. Not cause he is a quitter, but because
he is the type of guy who takes advantage of all opportunities.

I'm a fan of boxing. Hopkins right hand lead followed by a bump, head butt and clinch is not pleasent to watch. Young Hopkins was a beast, 46 YO Hopkins is just trying to survive.

    Why wouldnt i be.

He got robbed, and boxing needs to sort this out as right now me, and i hope others dont feel the same about boxing until something is done about it.

Thats how i see it anyway. People can say this and that but lets look at the facts..... Bernard has lost fights, and has made the most of fouls commited on him, but in his whole career can you see on indication of him having no heart and looking for an easy way out?

I see a man that would rather go out fighting than to go out in that way. Its just not in his DNA to fake an injury to the point where the fight is stopped, like so many idiots on here think he did.

you're a nuthugging idiot. I'm one of the biggest B-Hop fans there is, he's top 5 fave fighters ever for me and I said I was still a fan. learn how to read.......any non biased fan would not be happy with B-Hop right now.

"I will never side with him on quitting in the Dawson fight with an injury little girls react less dramatically to when he brought it upon himself by using his veteran dirty tactics and jumping on chads back but that doesn't erase all the great **** he's done. B-Hop will always be one of my faves but at the moment I'm hella disapointed in him.

If you're too much of a Hopkins dicksucker to be sick of his crying wolf every couple fights then you're a lost cause and you're more a nuthugger than a boxing fan. How many times does he have to exaggerate to get out of a situation before you take his **** out your mouth and dish a little criticism?

B-Hop will always be one of my faves and his crafty dirty work is actually part of why I love the guy (he knows all the tricks and uses them well and it entertains me) but c'mon son!! He acted like he was shot, if you ever dislocated your shoulder you'll know it's not nearly as painful as B-Hop made it out to be.
