Poland was in different situation than UK. You cant compare it. Who was in harder situation? Poland or UK or was it equal in your opinion? IMO Poland had it way harder.

You make it sound like the 40s/50s in America with the Italians. Plus, I'm sure there are immigrants in Poland from places close to it.

Honestly its the allies fault for breaking their agreements with Poland and allowing Poland to be dominated by the Communists :-(

A large amount of Poland"s educated and ambitious left Poland once Communism fell, and Poland has had an effective drain of athletes and intellectuals.

Its only really recovering from it recently, now that Poland has joined the Eu and the standard of living has increased
