Naz never had a huge amount of support like Hatton did. You do have a point with Bruno though. He did come across as one of the boys. Frank never had a religion though there isnt the same amount of dilike in England for colored people as there is Asians

 

like Hatton! i know what you mean but not everyone in the uk is white beer drinking football fans.

Im white and irish. live in leeds hes massivel popular with anyone i talk to about boxing. Ill admit i talk to a lot of ****stani Muslims and other ethnic groups and its quite surprising.

quite a lot of guys i know that are ****stani actually dont like him. more of the black and white guys i know think he's amazing.

one thing is for sure he gets people talking because all these people know who he is.

 

some of my bests are massive Hamed fans. these are irish white guys who love him. still love him

i admit i loved him too. not the best boxer ever and retired early but had to love his ridiculous entrances keeping Barrera waiting and margic carpets.

 

They'll say otherwise but some of the hate from his fellow Brits is because hes of ****stani origin.

 

He is popular in Wales as well. I always remembr the cheer and support he got at the Millennium Stadium when he was on the undercard for the Calzaghe Manfredo fight. And we cheered him when he came on to the stage in Vegas at the Hopkins weigh in. Khan is one of my favourite boxers. He is exciting to watch

I think Americans embrace people who move here very well. There's a lot of love for not only boxers, but baseball and basketball players, even actors and musicians.

I'm sure being Muslim has much more to do with it than being English.

 

i gave him grief with a lot of his earlier fights Limond, Gomez etc but he has won me over. fights against Malignaggi, maidana. judah, kotelnik etc. not the best resume ever but he's only 24.

People say Judah was shot but he wasnt a massive underdog and that performance i think made people stand up and take notice.(especially Bradley!!!!)

 

Yeah thats why we cheered him on in Cardiff. Wales is not bigoted. The only people who say Wales is bigoted are bigots themselves

 

i used to dislike the dude because of his connection with Naseem but I learned to let it go because he is completely the opposite of that douche.
