Is anyone still a fan of Bernard Hopkins?

Everyone aknowledges it was Hopkins who moved towards Dawson, but the whole focus is on Dawson because it was his stunt that caused the fight to end :deal

 

Right, Hopkins always rushes in to do his dirty tactics and then he and Scheaffer cry foul at the slightest defensive payback. Plus Hopkins was just warned prior of pushing Dawson's head down

Where is it illegal to push off a man who has jumped on your back? Hopkins is obviously trying to wear Dawson down with his weight and forearms

 

That is where we disagree at...I say Dawson trying to get B-hop off of his back...Why did B-hop even jump on his back in the first place??? You reap what you sow. B-hop has nobody to blame but himself.

Its clear as day that B-hop committed the first foul while putting his forearm into the back of Dawson's neck while holding onto his waist with his off hand. I dont blame Dawson either for doing what he did.

 

Exactly, I'm not about to just single out Dawson when its clear as day that Hopkins started this whole fiasco.

 

Hopkins ****ing quit.

He robbed everyone who bought this PPV. I wont watch this guy again.

 

too right pimp, hopkins longevity is incredible, you've got to admire anyone who can still compete with the best around in his 40s.

this... Arcane's stuck on his dick though so he'll never admit it. B-Hop got shrugged off for doing something he does on a reg basis. none of this changes the fact that he's an all time great and deserves his props but people need to take off their **** goggles and realize that B-Hop brought it on himself and over embellished.:hi:

Absolutely I'm still a fan. I hate the way he conducts himself from time to time, but it doesn't take away from what he's done and what he's accomplished in his career. His skills are awesome and I love watching him fight.

 

He was leaning in with a right hand and being that it wasn't a static punch there would naturally be movement Dawson ducked Hopkins momentum took him onto his back and the rest is history.

See you can make that argument about Dawson being fouled first etc. but it was Dawsons hook leg takedown that caused the fight to end that's why no one gives two shits about what Hopkins may or may not have done first.

Still has my respect, doesn't diminish his place in history, just feel sorry for those who paid for the fight
