I didn't see nothing that Chad did in the the rounds with Hopkins to change my mind good but nothing great he looked to slower than Hopkins pawed missed punches he is overrated in a subpar divison if it wasn't for the three old men in the class Hopkins, Johnson, Tarver, no excitement I know Hopkins should have fought Cloud or someone else another Jermaine Taylor over hyped and gets decisions based on youth.
I guess hes just beaten Adamek, Tarverx2, and Johnsonx2 because hes a phony... which must make those three pretty bad.
You clearly have no ****ing idea what you're talking about...Dude Chad Dawson has been "established", he's not a prospect or "up and comer", he's not a "hype job"...he's put in his time, he's faced good opposition, and he's beaten really good fighters. Hopkins (in current form) wouldn't even be his best win...
Dawson's no phony. He's a good, solid fighter with the opportunity to make his mark at light heavyweight and possibly even cruiserweight one day. Whether or not he can mentally dial himself in every fight is another question, but when he's in top form, he's not an easy out for anybody out there today.

Dawson has legit skills and athleticism. He is a fake southpaw but if it works for him, more power to him. However, I'm not a fan of him cuz he just doesn't seem exciting to me. I don't particularly enjoy watching him fight, yet I recognize he has talent a plenty. His fight with Adamek was quite excitng but that had mnore to do with adamek than with Dawson.
dawson is not a phony, when chad threw hopkins to the floor, bernard knew then that his plan of bullying the mentally weak dawson was'nt gonna work and it surprised him. hopkins was pinning his hopes on dawson being afraid, and not letting his hands go, so he could jump on him, bully him and win the fight. when dawson did'nt do what hopkins thought he would, then bernard try'ed to cheat his way to victory, like he's done in fights before.
