And Beastside... Of course I perfectly understand what you mean, but this looks the fairest way to me. Problem is, you have compete from the start of the season and pick on the vast majority of the fights (even if you're not sure about the outcome) to be in the top here. There would be a lot of guys here with perfect or near perfect records if they would be able to cherrypick, there would be nothing to seperate them. The last couple 5 months there have been maybe less than 3 fights that I was "certain" about that went the other way (real shockers). But loads of closer fights that I wouldn't even consider to pick on if the league was about percentage or something went wrong for me in that same period. So it wouldn't be about "who can predict better" in that case, cause almost everyone would have the same picks and results. It would be about who didn't make a prediction (maybe forgot) on a fight that went completely wonko so his record stays intact. This method isn't foolproof, but it's the fairest imo. We would have to change it in someting completely different (like a head to head method) to still be honest and fun for everyone.
Maybe every 10 unbeaten you get a bonus point? Either way I think you should be ENCOURAGED to pick winners in obscure fights.
Lol in a way beastside (what was the ban for btw?) Is encouraging us to duck fights lol. He has a point about unbeaten guys should be ranked a bit higher maybe but there's gotta be a better way of doing it than just having the loss count more than a win. I don't wanna be disadvantageed because i've made a pick on every fight this month.
Nothing wrong with it the way it is, anything else just inspires cherry picking. Just pick on every fight, if you don't know the boxers involved then you will learn more and it will improve you for later pickings. if you don't like picking on close fights - well there aint no room for cherry picking in Kirks league.
The ban was for posting up a video of a girl moving her boobs with muscle power. Gotta mention the boobs were fully dressed.
Maybe If you have a list of ... for example 15 fight that everybody could pick, and a list of 3 fights that is locked. Then have few of the fights from the 15 list who are considerated very close to be marked as *High Risk* and only be picking one or more of those fight you could unlock the 3 fights list. .....

Could be an option, but will become very complicated after a while I guess... Plus you still have the problem of the method of counting then. Why don't you just pick "high risk" fights yourself and have a go at the top places next year? I just watched your picks after "West" and they weren't very daring to say the least. Most guys here have the same picks you do, and quite a few (the guys that picked Dawson like me) would still have their "0" if those were the only fights that counted here. The Kirk championship doesn't get decided on those fights, those can only give you max 15 losses (and for most here a lot less) a year or something. It's the risky fights that make the difference, and the fights you need insight for (underdogs with a special skillset that actually makes them the favourite against that opponent), and I have to admit... some luck. I like this method because you can't duck fights... I did it once this year and went 5-0 for the weekend or something. Only it was one of my worst weekends because most better guys had the hard fights right, so it was a stupid move on my side. Needless to say, that was the last time I did that. :yep
