    :deal Ward can certainly match Bute in the speed, footwork, skills departments, but he lacks Lucian's concussive, one punch power.

    thats why i said may

    id say him and ward are similar in attributes but Bute hits much harder and the body attack is an advantage

    Butes resume isn't great, or even good, decent, or average lol, but the guy is talented, and will prove to be # 2 at smw (I believe ward is the guy to beat in that division).

    Yup. That match up is intriguing. Is Ward fast enough to avoid Bute's big shots all fight long? After Kessler, I was thinking maybe but now we know Mikkell was not seing well and after Ward's last 3 fights, I think Bute has too much for Ward: the combination of speed and power will kill him.

    One of the thing we often forget, is that athletes often performs at the level of their opponents. It applies to both Bute (vs Magee for exemple) and for Ward (vs Abraham). I think that both of them underperform in these fights and we should not use these to rate a fight between them.
