    Right this minute:

    1) Freddie Roach
    2) Robert Garcia
    3) Gabriel Sarmiento (Martinez, Matthysse, Cayo, etc.)
    4) Naazim Richardson
    5) Orlando Cuellar (Glen Johnson, JC Gomez, Eromsele Albert - considering the talent level of his fighters, I think he's a great trainer)

Steward is a great trainer for his kind of fighter, but can't train anyone else worth a lick. Same goes for Ulli Wegner. Nacho I feel is way past his prime, but he'd probably be next on the list. Not a huge fan of Shields - he falls into a category with McGirt for me. Floyd Sr. is great when he has someone's attention but has so many other drawbacks. I respect Jackson and Scully, but I just haven't seen enough of what they can do.

Certainly has the record with the likes of Wlad, Lewis, Hearns etc... didn't work out with Dawson though.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure Toney is a big fan:

"Emanuel Steward is a half-assed trainer.

The only thing Emanuel ever did in his whole career was come in the last week before a fight after he had Walter Smith, Bill Miller, and everybody else doing all the training camps for the whole eight or nine weeks. The last week Emanuel comes in when the camera is on him and he does mitts with him and says he did something."

    :D

Speaking of Toney, crikey he looks like he's lost a fair bit of weight of late.
