We have seen plenty of people like him over the years. With no disrespect intended to the man, as I'm sure there is a hint of truth to his stories, but as said they have been blown way out of proportion.

He knew Ali, had a brief encounter with Fraizer, a decent enough amateur career and a couple of street fights, and the next thing you know he is a 114-0 undefeated champion of the boxing ring and the streets who bailed Ali out of jail.

There was show on ESPN classic about 3 months ago and it was up in Newcastle, the Metro centre i think, and it was a Q&A. It must have been the same time as you seen him. Again, he called up Paddy Monaghan to the stage and introduced him

He campaigned to get Ali out,he fought unsanctioned,unlicenced and illegal bouts in the 60`s and 70`s... How many walked around with a cameraphone back then.And if u WERE stupid enough to bring a camera u and ur camera would be smashed to bits...... I know the family,i know quite a few in the traveller community and Paddy IS the real deal.Pics of him campaigning for Ali exist,so does pics with his promoter.Pics of his fights does NOT for the simple reason it was BKB,not gloved,sanctioned rimbles in the jungle or thrillas in manilla. And come february 2012,Bobby Gunn vs James Quinn duke it out for the BKB HW title and THEY know Paddy.

 

Just one question mate, and i say this with all due respect. How is there photos and films of the likes of lenny mc lean and roy shaw and even charles bronson, having fights at these illegal BKB shows yet there isnt any of Paddy? Dont you think its reasonable to think there would be a few knocking about. Ive no doubt hes good friends with Ali and all that. Nobody doubts that. You cant blame people for being sceptical without any kind of proof being offered up.

Im not sure if your from the UK or not so i just want to clarify that im talking about the well known prisoner and all-round maniac Charles Bronson and not the hollywood actor. I dont know how to upload but ive seen one of his fights, he ends up being disqualified, and there was pandimonium at 1 stage when someone actually drops their gun in the ring in the melee. Surely it must be on youtube

Ok we know he could garner minor publicity due to being friends with ali. For a short while people knew his name and most certainly would have recorded one of his fights.
