especially the Sanders fight he was all over the place. Brewster he lloked like he gassed out more so.
there might be something wrong with his chin but not his mental toughness, you can say that about a champion and he proved by getting the decision agains sam peter after getting knockdown three times
Well by your reckoning Lewis was only stopped once. So we have: Lewis. Stopped 1 time, TKO 1 time, on the canvas 2 times. Wlad. Stopped 0 times, TKO 3 times, on the canvas 12 or 13 times. You make a very convincing argument. Wlad being floored 10 times more than Lewis obviously proves he has a better chin. Perhaps we should go back and recalculate boxers KO %. I read that Vitaly has a 90-odd% KO ratio. Obviously that's not the case, as most of those are TKO's and don't really count as being a stoppage. Even though a TKO is called a stoppage win, the opponent wasn't stopped.?? Of course. How obvious.
I agree. I have to say I quite admire Wlad. He clearly doesn't have the best chin, and obviously doesn't like being clocked. It's clear to see he doesn't react well when cracked. But he keeps fighting, he keeps getting up and getting in that ring, and collecting belt after belt. That shows a lot of guts and determination to me. Just wish he'd convert his clear dominance over his opponents into short, exciting wins.
****ing hell mate, these really deserve a "klitschko fan: Quote of the week" thread all of their own. They are mind blowing.
Wlad has a better jab. Wlad is faster. Wlad has better footwork. Equal Power. Equal Heart. Equal Stamia. Lewis has slightly better chin. Lewis has better killer instinct. Lewis is over hyped. Therefore; they are equal.
What is the goal of any boxer? To hit and not get hit. Wlad has accomplished way more in this sphere.
Wtf? In heart both are like the same? No offense to wlad fans but lewis has far more heart then wlad in which lewis been to very good to great fights far more times then wlad. In lewis last fight, he went toe 2 toe with a prime vitali in one of the best heavyweight fights. <<< Lewis was clearly out of shape.
I have been a fan of Wlad since the amateurs. In all honesty: There was a time when I though this discussion was never going to take place (after the DaVarryl Williamson fight). Although he won, it just looked like he was a mentally broken fighter. It is amazing how he has turned thing's around. He is the Lazarus of boxing. I consider it a victory that this topic can even be addressed. Consider also that Wlad appears to still be improving at an age of 35.
You clearly don't understand what "heart" means. "Heart" is about overcoming adversity and finding a way to win. Wlad was one fight from his career being over and he was down 3 times in that fight. He managed to turn things around and become one of the most dominant champs in the history of the sport.
And yet he barely in very good to great fights because he scared to take risk like go toe 2 toe but he panicks when a fighter comes in which he grabs way too much. Lewis grab too no doubt but not many many times like Wlad in which Lewis been in many wars. Wlad is a great fighter but imo he's lack in heart in which is why he hardly been in great fights. The last very good fight Wlad been on was the first Peter fight back in 04.
he came in at 256.... Lewis weighted at 253 against Rahman, 250 against Tua , Mcall, Botha and Tyson. 6lb is barely 2 killos Clearly out of shape my ass you muppetatsch
See where your hate got you?...you didn't even live enough to see your boy Haye getting schooled by Waldo.
