I am in same camp never once trained with him as he trains nights me day time just what hear from the trainer an other people in the gym, it don't matter to me who wins along as I win My eliminator I get shot then

  3. I think Purdy will stop him.

Lynes hasn't won a 12 round fight since the robbery loss to Branco.... which is what, 3+ years ago now, which probably put him on the downslide.

In between his decent showings in PF there's a couple of bad KO defeats to McCloskey and Olusegun, in both he was banged up pretty bad it has to be said.

If he can establish his jab he'll cause Purdy some problems, but I think at some point in the middle rounds he'll be walked onto something big and stopped, in the same way that Watson was.

The future is bright IMO for Purdy, plenty of options.

    The Olusegan fight was weird.

He was pretty competitive from what I remember but then drastically went down hill and was on the verge of being sick in the ring. So he quit.

That's not the first time he's done that either he did it against Lenny Daws. It's strange because he has a solid chin and is a really fit and strong LWW.

He complained about killing himself to make 140 after the fight and has fought at 147 since.

Is your name after the Marseille keeper?

  8. Yeah he was, I felt he was losing but with a strong finish might have been able to nick it.

To me it looked like he could have got up, but looked at his corner and then they did the rest.

I've not seen the Daws fight....

I just think that he struggles taking shots to the body. If Gavin was to fight him I'd imagine Tibbs will be just telling him to keep whacking to the body.

Worked a treat against Lomax, made him stand still. Lynes isn't all that mobile these days at the best of times, would make the fight much easier for him.

Yeah he did look frail towards end but really he looked like going to a world title shot until he was beat by Branco then after he really lost his way with patchy form. I think 147 we won't see best of him but your right i remember him saying he was struggling to make weight suppose getting older his body's growing he must of been at 140 for a decade?.

    Yeah it is mate .

Yep that's it mate, Lenny got into the fight around round 3-4 like he normally does and Lynes didn't take the pace and workrate of Daws to well and he went to corner at round 8 or 9 IIRC and sat down and was heaving up in corner and like in agony and said he couldn't go on.

He then said he was suffering from sickness before the fight whether that's true or not i don't know. I just felt Lenny ground him down..

:lol: I hate Arsenal but tbh i was glad when they scored. Marseille were taking **** in that second half. One of most negative home displays for quite a while and it was nice to see Ramsey score after hard 18 months or so he's had.

I don't like Arsenal neither, but Rambo is my boy.

Known about him since he was 14 and had him at 10/1 to play for Wales before his 19th Birthday :happy

    Nice One :good

He's a lovely player to watch, Tbf your academy has been turning out some real quality players. Is Malky the man to take you to the Premier League?
