I just watched the trailer of the Joe Frazier film and my eyes moisted up. Frazier was one of my alltime hero's in the ring for sure. A real man with no B.S.
I first saw Joe lose to Buster Mathis in the 1964 Olympics trials in the Worlds Fair site,
Flushing NY. I next saw him train at the Concord Hotel,in Sullivan's County NY,we two were alone 4 or 5 feet apart, and Joe was taping his hands, and waiting for Yank Durham
and his sparring partners. I was too nervous to say something to Joe.
Next time I saw Frazier was at the FOTC MSG, in 1971. What a night, what a fight, what a fighter was Joe Frazier, to me. Good Luck Joe on your movie. You deserve it...

A documentary as much about Joe Frazier as it is about Philla and its youth (It seems). I like that. Looks interesting.

That was amazing. One of my favorite fighters ever. I can't get to New York but if there's a DVD/blu-ray release let us know. I GOTTA see this.

Wow, that looks extremely well-done. I'm in NYC. Not sure if I'll be able to make it, but where's the screening? Any chance to shake the legend's hand afterwards?
