I can understand picking the highlighted guys over a young, green Wlad but the current safety-first, razor sharp, cyborg version is just too steady for most of them...

    1) Golota is far too erratic to predict a victory, much less make him a favorite.

    2) Buster Douglas has the physical specs to be competitive but it just isn't reasonable to predict an outcome based on one performance against someone who is a completely different fighter stylistically.

    3) I love the Tuanator but I honestly see a replay of Lewis-Tua. Tua would plod his way inside...taking double jabs and right hand leads all the way...then get smothered for his trouble.

    4) Valuev has the physical tools to beat Wlad...

    5) Moorer is a bit too inactive and sedentary too trouble Wlad very much.

Don't agree with Golota, Douglas, Tua, Valuev or Moorer. Not sure about Ruddock either.

I'd put Dempsey on there before Marciano.

Who beat a seasoned, prime 22yo Wlad? Fool :-(

I couldn't come up with 20 heavies who'd beat Wlad to save my life. No disrespect, but 190lbs vintage fighters have virtually zero chance of winning and considering what kind of style you need to beat Wlad the options are rather slim.
Speed hasn't helped any of Wlad's opponents so far - with Byrd and Haye being the fastest and he dominated them with ease. Outboxing him is freaking hard as he sticks out his jab for 36mins of the fight and looking like the aggressor the entire fight. Vitali and Lewis have the best chances to beat current prime Wlad. Ali and Holmes are the only ones capable of outpointing him (if Vitali and Lewis beat him, they stop him). Tyson is too small and simply not good enough. Ridiculously overrated. Bowe? No.

Bruno was out boxing Lewis for much of their fight. He didn't look out sized in there either, like a Haye/Wlad scenario.

Bruno has a longer reach than Wlad.

Not saying he'd necessarily beat him but he'd have at least as good a chance as some of those on the list and a better chance than 90 odd percent of Wlad's resume.

Yeah, I still think Bruno gives Wlad hell, stylistically it's a really interesting fight.

I can see only 3 guys who could beat Wlad: his brother Vitali, Lennox Lewis and Ali. All the rest dont have a very good chance to win, but a great chance to get ktfo

Spot on, thats almost exactly how I see it.
But I don't agree with you on Tyson. I think he is THE stylistic nightmare for Wlad. I would favor Tyson in there 6/4 times if they fought ten times.

Nice try but there are so many holes I don't know where to begin.................

Suffice to say Wladimir would have a very tough fight against Louis, Ali, Lewis, Foreman, Tyson & Vitali. That doesn't mean he'd win or lose just that they'd be good fights.

Bruno definitely has the Power to trouble Wlad and in terms of size matchs up well. I don't think Wlad could stand up to his power. but then again Bruno would always fold under pressure and big shots. so kind of a whoever lands a big right hand first wins scenario
