The legendary Lyle might actually come up with a win here although he may have to settle for a decision win. Fireworks early until turning into a very sloppy bout in the late rounds with both men running out of steam.
This would be a humdinger of a bout ! I see it on the lines of Foreman - Lyle Lyle - Shavers Morrison - Ruddock Both men would lay on heavy duty punishment on each other, and knocking each other down a few times. I have a hunch that Ruddock would tire first, thus enabling Lyle to score a tko, eventually.
If lyle can get wobbled by an Ali 1-2 then no doubt in my mind that Ruddocks smash will KO him. Altthough, styles make fights and nothing is for sure?
Rudduck had a few good wins but was known for his losses, he beat Dokes impressively but Tyson and Lewis made him look bad and to let Tommy Gunn get off the floor to win makes me wonder if Razor had as many weaknesses as strengths....Razor raises Lyle's hair a few times but Ron rolls on to a close decision win.
It was the speed of Ali's punches that stunned Lyle, setting him up for the tko. Ruddock may have had harder one punch power than Muhammad, but his combos were n't anywhere near as fast.
Lyle outgunned Shavers and came close to doing the same with Big George. I'd take him here in a slugfest.
ruddock was a shott fighter at a young age of 31 when he met tommy morrison..........tyson finished him/ and lewis ruined him:smoke
In addition to being at least badly damaged goods against Morrison, it's crystal clear Ruddock was also very much a rust-bucket when they fought. Despite being exceptionally past-prime, i think Ruddock would've won, if only he'd stayed active & thus sharper to pull the trigger.
