good stuff! donaire looks a bit water drained and quickly took some after weighing-in. amazingly, narvaez weighs higher than nonito who many are saying is a big for his weight class.
Anyone noticed how Donaire looked kinda surprised when they announced his weight?, he was all like ":conf"
Hasn't there been rumors of Donaire struggling to make weight? I've been saying all along, that I lean towards Donaire, but anyone who discounts Narvaez is a fool, not betting a dime
I don't think Donaire is weight-drained. He may be taller than most guys at his weight, but his frame is not that large. As much I want him to see him fight at 126, it may be too high for him.
+1 Nonito isn't to most active fighter. He tends to have long layoffs in between fights and is known to really pile on the lbs. If he were to fight more often, I don't think making the weight would be much of an issue for him. I tend to think that 118 is a good weight for him at the moment, but because of his height and reach advantages - plus his overall boxing prowess - there's a clamor for him to move up.
What are Narvaez's chances in this fight? Has he faced any serious opposition or has it been all bums in Argentina?
Navarez has filled out well into the Weight, especially considering how small he is and this being his first fight at 118. If Donaire really is struggling with the weight he will have a hard fight on his hands.
