I would, in fact I will.

JAMES TONEY IS A PIECE OF ****.

Everyone who cares about boxing better be rooting for Lebedev to destroy this bum. Can you imagine what the MMA boys will be saying if Toney beats a top cruiserweight contender after getting destroyed by Randy Couture????

Toney didn't mind embarrassing his sport for a payday -- karma is a ***** and I hope Lebedev puts this crude, racist, loudmouthed bum into a rest home.

It definitely seems like there is a seperate set of standards for certain fighters, Toney being a classic example. Fairly easy to be considered an ATG when your supporters have a built in excuse for everyone of your losses/gift decisions/poor performances. Even his deplorable conduct get exhaulted while far less from other fighters gets met with disdain.

It truly is a bizarre obsession...

I stand up to be counted as a James Toney fan. Truth be told he wasted more talent than 95% of boxers have ever had. He became a fat slob and should never have moved as far up as heavyweight but I'm on board for Toney's final run at redemption. If he manages to drop back down to cruiser and pick up a legit belt that will surely cement his place in the pantheon of all time greats. He would have MW, SMW, CW, HW and CW belts once again, who has ever pulled that off? I also think that, with some new found dedication he could pick up a belt at HW that the K Bros don't have, I don't see him besting either of them...

The same clumsy Peter who dropped Wlad 3 times?

You're ignoring the fact that he was weight drained. I guess you gave Pac full credit for beating an in-shape Oscar?

Pac lost to two fighters who were much worse. Griffin is an olympic silver medalist who actually gave a prime Roy some problems in the 1st fight (and was ahead on one scorecard).

    But Mormeck does? :patsch

    He's IBA champion..... :)

I remember him dissing the wba championship in video with benn and eubank. And now he openly boasts about being IBA champ. Toney Is a phoney and hasn't had a "good" performance in years.

I would love Toney to roll back the years but let's face it, it's not happening, the fat **** has no discipline and is now becoming a disgrace to boxing.

To be fair to him, he was not in his 40s back then, he was young and in his prime. Eubank was actually sitting on a joke of a belt at the time, Toney was right in saying so. The WBO was a joke of a belt back then and one held in very little regard.

I agree. And I fully expect Lebedev to destroy him, the people saying otherwise are ignoring the last half-decade of Toney's career. They are living in the past, much like Toney is himself.

Even if he does drop the weight, Toney is punch drunk and his reflexes are long gone.

Like I said, imagine if he did beat Lebedev and how that would make boxing look when he got so easily destroyed by Couture in MMA. We'd never hear the end of it from the MMA boys.

    Fortunately, that ain't gonna happen.

He's also a crude, foul-mouthed, racist imbecile who for some reason gets people to make excuses for his behavior as if he can't help himself.
