    Sostre is buzzed by right hands and left hooks while backing up - the same combo that dropped him while off balance in the previous round (ruled a slip). Sostre leans against Bracero and smothers him against the ropes, trying to crane his back out and boomerang back with a right hand. Bracero has him under wraps even with his back to the ropes, landing short compact punches all over Bracero's face and ribs. Wild overhand right by Sostre lands but gets him countered several times by the quicker, straighter and surer punches of Bracero. Sostre keeps ducking and swooping in the pocket to avoid a few of Bracero's shots but is lit up with jabs and rights all the same. Steve Smoger almost got KTFO by a stray haymaker, but showed some slick upper body defense. :lol:

    Back to the real fight, Sostre waited to the last 20 seconds to try to be active but I can't give him the round off of that, Bracero continued to push and beat Sostre all around the ring and controlled the action.

    Bracero is boxing more tentatively, staying on the outside and keeping his arms held in a tight and disciplined guard but moving it around a bit as he watches Sostre. Jabs and overhand rights by Bracero coming forward, hitting a lot of braid and back as Sostre flops around. Sostre paws with his jab from too far out during the rest periods after Bracero backs out, and misses his right hand badly after foretelling it. Bracero keeps applying the pressure and starts to land in combination, backing Sostre against the ropes. They exchange and Sostre is just getting slaps on the arm as Bracero clocks him.

    Bracero controlled the round then put the cherry on top in the last 10 seconds. Sostre is doing absolutely nothing, he isn't throwing anything of signficance, is getting out jabbed on the outside and beaten up and out worked on the inside.

    No, I'm glad to be doing it. This stuff has needed doing for a while. Just been too poor while paying the mortgage.


    This fight has improved as its gone on. Pretty ugly early on, not so bad now.
