You're being obstinate mate. You LOVE rugby league. If you had to watch the rugger week in week out you'd go barmy. In fact if NZ weren't in the final you probably wouldn't even watch it (same as most people who were swing from Wallaby sacks for a fortnight won't be watching.) :D :deal

You are right, I love League more than union but I love watching Rugby

There goes your theory that union wingers touch the ball more than league ones. A few stats form Lote's last year in union and first year back with the Tigers.

You say you love league more? That's cool, you just made a few comments earlier suggesting otherwise.

Brad Thorn is the second player to win both an NRL and Super Rugby premiership. Who is the first?

    Peter Ryan (Brisbane and Brumbies).

Just had to check up on Matt Ridge and interestingly he switched from union because he felt 'stuck' as second choice All Black fullback after John Gallagher. A week after Ridge switched Gallagher went to English rugby league, poor bugger.

But Ridge never played "Super 14/15"

Apparently John Gallagher was RU World Player of the Year in 1989, he switched to League in 1990 on a million dollar (nz?) contract but failed to make an impact in the 13 player code.

Ridge obviously went on to much greater things with his switch.

Peter Ryan aye? I would never have got that one.

The Mighty Matt Ridge :happy I still rate him as the best goal kicker I have ever seen, good defensive fullback aswell

Using my mate Mead as an example. He recieved the ball ONLY 3 times from a backline move in the 1st 7 rounds of this year. It disgusted me week after week. One week I saw Benji hit Matt Utai 3 times in the first 5 mins of a Tigers match :-( Thurston is another fella that likes to tunnel ball to his wingers

Haha ok, lets assume Scott Prince isn't your halfback, then you're more likely to receive a a good amount of ball.

Prince wasnt really the problem, it was having ppl like Bird in at 5/8 :patsch Might as well been Goerge Rose playing that position.

His turnstyle defence is certainly a problem, but he's not the only 7 in the comp with that issue. Maybe if Beau Henry steps up the 5/8 problem might be solved, but I reckon he needs half a season in QLD Cup before he's ready.

Henry isnt going to get a look in unless 3 players are injured...Sezer, Rankin and Bird as the 3rd option.

Looking forward to seeing Sezer when he gets a go.
A lot of Dog fans were pissed that the club allowed him to be poached.
