Why it's on here: This is a special fight in which corruption was taken to the next level. The fight was scheduled for 12 rounds. Everywhere you looked this fight was was scheduled for 12 rounds. After Williams was badly hurt and on the verge of getting put to sleep, the promoters, officials, handlers of the fight changed it to 10 rounds. Williams ended up winning a 10 round decision, which was fine if it was scheduled for 10 rounds, but it wasn't. This fight was a 12 round fight, but the officials changed it to 10 rounds. Unbelievable amount of corruption and if this was in the United States this would have gotten much bigger coverage. As it is, it was talked about for a couple of minutes and everybody moved on. A damn shame. A real ****ing shame that Botha got robbed. That not only robbed Botha of a win, but us the fans, were robbed of a fantastic come-from-behind KO victory.

    Fight: Adrien Broner-Paulie Malignaggi
Judges: Tom Miller (he scored it 115-113 for Paulie.) Tom Schreck (117-111 Broner) Personally, I didn't really have a problem with the scoring. But, this isn't about me it's about what the pulse of the boxing fan thinks. A lot of people were outraged by the scorecard in favor of Paulie, and even more were outraged by Schreck's 117-111 scorecard. So, both go up.

Yeah I'm really getting sick of this man. Did you guys read how the German Boxing Federation is going to start to get strict and really watch fights under a microscope after the travesty in the Alexander Petkovic and Cisse Salif fight?

Do you know if that decision is going to be changed in any way? That one was as blatant as thay come, and once again made Germany the joke of the boxing world while the US is doing everything in their power to take that crown lately.

Come on US, you can do better as ze damn Germans!

I'm catching up on Solo Boxeo and there was an almost equally bad robbery under Golden Boy's watch.

Solid tough journeyman and aspiring slickster Larry Smith earned himself a six-round victory over 4-0 Jorge Suarez. Smith scored a flash knockdown in the 1st (with Suarez ramming his head into a quick right hand and tumbling into a face-plant as a result) and clearly won at least two more rounds with outside boxing and whipping uppercuts to the body...comfortable enough to even clown Suarez at times and stick his tongue out at him. Suarez did win two or three rounds (two clearly) by marching forward and crashing down with relentless hard shots during Smith's frequent periods of breathless inertia brought on by his too-kinetic style.

Still, that's 57-56 or 58-55 for Smith. He won a minimum of three rounds, one of them 10-8.

You think he was allowed to walk out of there with the official upset of the unbeaten Golden Boy signing in the kid's home state? Nah...

Suarez won by scores of 58-54 and 57-55 x2. :verysad

At least it wasn't a shutout. :conf

Oh, and the referee also interrupted the action at one point (while Smith was landing uppercuts from outside and taunting Suarez with hoots & hollers) and reprimanded Smith for trash talking. As far as I'm aware, verbal exchanges between the combatants are not his domain and he has no right to tell someone to not talk.

I didn't catch the ref or judges' names but they should be listed on Boxrec by tomorrow. (the result isn't even up yet)

If not for your rbr's a lot of these smaller fight robberies would go easily overlooked.
Im going to add some corrupt judges and refs from bigger fights in a little while after breakfast.
About time these corrupt ****ers get called out.

So according to Raul Ortega, Suarez won every single round except the one in which he got knocked down. :-( He lost three at minimum.
